5 Bowl Calandering Unit
Three 24″ dia. cotton rolls on taper roller bearings with heavy-duty C.I.
housings, hydraulically raised or lowered, combined with two 12″ hard chromed mirror finished heated rollers for precision
surface finishing.

Multi-Mode Heating System
Oil, steam or electric heating device — selectable to suit the fabric type and
process requirement. Internal heating inside each 12″ hard chromed mirror finished roller ensures uniform, controlled heat
transfer across the full fabric width.

Two heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders with necessary power pack and electric control

Main Frame: Strong close-type frame fabricated from 50 mm thick plate, channel and flats — rigidly welded and jointed. Heavy mounting base is vibration-free to withstand heavy loads and for secure mounting of frame and hydraulic cylinders.

Entry Section: Fitted with necessary tension bars and swivel tension device, chrome-plated guide rolls to guide the fabric centrally and precisely before entering the calandering unit.

5 Bowl Calandering Unit — Cotton Rolls: Three nos. 24″ dia. cotton rolls on taper roller bearings in heavy-duty C.I. housings. Housings can be raised or lowered by hydraulic cylinders; housing bearings provided throughout.

Hard Chromed mirror finished Heated Rollers: Two 12″ hard chromed mirror finished rollers on taper roller bearings with housings. Roller surface is ground and hard chromed mirror finished; internal heating system provided.

Heating System: Oil, Steam or Electric heating device — selectable to match fabric type and process requirement for optimal surface finish results.

Hydraulic System: Two heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders with necessary power pack and electric control panel ensure precise, consistent bowl pressure across the full fabric width.

Drive System: A.C. electric motor with suitable worm reduction gearbox, chain wheels and chain. Control panel includes temperature controller and inverter drive for variable speed operation.

Fabric Delivery End: Roller-type plaiter with one positively driven draw roll and one rubber pressure roll, plus two guide rolls — ensuring smooth, controlled fabric delivery and stacking at the exit.
