Technical Specifications

  • Ceremic Double-Jet Slot Burner : Double-jet burner mounted with ceramic bricks and a heavy-duty aluminum alloy body construction. Designed for durability and superior performance, the burner produces a uniform, high-intensity blue flame, ensuring precise and consistent singeing across all types of fabrics.
  • Brushing / Beating Unit: 2 or 4 roll dust-free fabric entry system with closed extraction chamber and fully sealed entrance section; brushes or beaters on both sides with adjustable fabric contact from zero to maximum.
  • Proportional Mixing Valves: Guarantees a constant gas:air ratio independent of feed volume, ensuring flame quality consistency across all production speeds.
  • Singeing Positions: Different singeing positions can be achieved according to fabric quality, including Tangential Singeing, Singeing on Water-Cooled Roller, and Singeing on Free Guided Fabric.
  • Impregnation Compartment: Available in 10, 15 and 21 meter fabric capacity. Upper and lower rollers fitted externally with ball bearings; high speed up to 120 mtr/min with two-roller squeeze mangles at exit.
  • Fabric Delivery Options: Batchers and plaiters synchronised with the singeing process speed for smooth and uniform fabric handling.

Three optimized burner positions allow the machine to achieve different singeing effects depending on the fabric construction and fiber composition.

Singeing on to the Free Guided Fabric

Singeing on to the Free Guided Fabric

In this position the burner flame bounces rectangular on the freely guided fabric. It is therefore possible to obtain the most intensive singeing in this position. The singeing results are of very high efficiency and hence this position is suitable for fabrics manufactured out of natural and regenerated fibers as also for heavy material made from all type of fibers..

Singeing on to a Water Cooled Roller

Singeing on to a Water Cooled Roller

The flame in this position bounces on the fabric at right angle i.e. in 90° angle. The fabric is guided on a water cooled roller avoiding penetration of the flame in to the fabric. The fabric remains cool comparatively during the singeing process and thus thermal damages of temperature ]sensitive synthetic fibers are eliminated. This singeing position is specially recommended for all blended and synthetic fabric as well as for fabric having open structure.

Tangential Singeing

Tangential Singeing

The singeing flame touches the passing fabric only tangentially the flame attacks only the fiber ends which are protruding out of the fabric surface. This position is especially suitable for singeing of lightweight materials and heat sensitive fabrics as well as for leveling of fabrics with broken filaments synthetic cloth.
